I'd still rather wait than get an X-box.

I would rather wait a while than have a console rushed out with bugs and glitches. I have my PS2 to keep me occupied, and I suppose the delay also means that developers have more time to get some cool release titles.

I hope they do a similar thing with on-line gaming for the ps3 as MS have done with the 360.

Its a totally different gaming experience for me, playing on-line and earning Gamer Points for getting Achievements. Making it that little bit different.
Thats the biggest improvement for me with the 360. :thumbsup:

The Xbox 360 is a fantastic console! Just got Morrowind and Burnout Revenge, Friday getting Far Cry Predator! True about the gamerscore.. its great! Xbox Live will leave Sony's offerings for dead (as did the original Xbox)..

The PS2 was a huge dissapointment for me as I was expecting great things from it. The original Playstation was an AMAZING machine and has gone down in my mind as one of the greatest gaming milestones ever! I've had them all but going from the excellent (but sadly underrated) Dreamcast to the PS2 on release was a huge dissapointment, and I've always maintained that the DC was always the better machine than the PS2! I'm not saying the PS2 was crap because it wasn't, but it certainly wasn't the massive leap I was expecting.

The Xbox 360 looks so good with an HDTV! When Sony eventually release the PS3, I'll probably get one but as for it beating the 360 --- there will be virtually no difference between them power wise and MS will have a years head start on tweaking the 360 to perfection!

As for bugs and glitches, every brand new console has problems. I had 3 PS2's on release day because the 1st stopped reading discs after an hour, the second wouldn't open the disc tray and the 3rd shut itself down after every 4 hours due to overheating (even though I had 2 damned fans blowing on it).
MS have already updated all the Live! online enabled 360's by the release of a dashboard patch which has cured the freezing problems some people encountered.

im in no rush for a ps3 my ps2 has a couple of more years left in it
