What are you looking for? I don't think you're going to get far asking people on here. You're hardly going to get a complete or official picture. If you are aiming to study your family history you should maybe head for Sheffield Archives on Shoreham Street and check out the census returns. You may even find that your family is not entirely from Sheffield?

There used to be some Foxes who lived at Heeley,Dave Fox ran the Shakespeare Pub with his wife,I cannot recall her name though it might be Margrate or Maureen.

I think I may know this Trevor Fox. He may be a former work contact who is employed by Sheffiled City Council at Sovereign House on Bank Street.

My dad is called Roy Fox he lived on Parson Cross most of his life...he worked for Dunfords at Attercliffe (now Kiddie thorn?)and then from the late 70's early 80's was a driving instructor for BSM on Furnival Gate up until his death 13yrs ago...His mum was called Florence but everyone called her Annie..she also had a daughter called Betty (from a previous relationship) that now lives in the Millhouse's area.....I also think my dad had a cousin called Trevor who had a transit pick up....

i used to go to school with a june fox and then years later worked at the same place as her mum, her mum used to live on southey place since moved.

My mom's side of the family all have the surname Fox. They originate from the Firth Park area where my nan and grandad had a house on Elerton Road i think. If you need any info, just ask.
