I used to play lacrosse a few years ago - nothing serious, just a bit of exercise and fun.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any women's lacrosse teams/clubs in the Sheffield area, preferably one that welcomes beginners/people that used to be a lot fitter than they are now. :D

Anyone got any ideas?

Sheffield University looks like your best bet locallly. If not suitable they may be able to put you onto something else.

Hi there, I know Sheff uni do have a ladies team, or if not, then Manchester area is your best bet by far, they ahve a fair few clubs of which I'm sure they would happily welcome a "Renewer"! If you need any contact details for any, then please let me know, and I'll forward you any details you may need. I am in the same boat as you, and played in a mini tournament this weekend and realise just how fit I used to be. Sounds really bad to say I'm only 23 though!!!
