Part set in Sheffield, accident in a tunnel on a train when everyone is frozen. When they wake up the group who survived walk out along the lines & find everyone missing.... they dont know date or anything. They finished up surviving a war & find out they've been frozen for a few years.
Really want to find the film & see if I can find a copy.

I do know SCI-FI channel have repeated it a couple of times over last few years.

It was a mini-series shown on TV a few years ago.

Started off as quite promising, but lost momentum towards the end.

I don't remember it being set in Sheffield (even in part). I thought the train was from London to somewhere in Scotland, but I may be wrong.

You're not muddling this with Threads which was set in Sheffield?

The train was bound for Scotland .... but there was a train crash in a tunnel aproaching Sheffield.Someone was taking some new stuff to a secret bunker in Scotland .. thats where they finished up. It wasnt all in sheffield ...... just prob the first part.

Yep ... thats the one.......... dont think I'll be able to find a copy .... although I found Sole Survivor & that hasnt been released on VHS or DVD, so you never know.
