I am a London based researcher working on a history of the film society movement. I am trying to find out about a woman called Margaret Hancock who ran the Federation of Film Societies as Honorary Secretary from her Sheffield home in Priory Road between 1950 and 1964. She was also involved in the Sheffield Film Society throughout this period. Margaret probably died in the late seventies or early eighties. Any information would be gratefully received as I currently know very little about her.
