Hi,

I am a 24 year old male looking for something a bit different to do with my time. I am a very good writer (well, I think so! :P) looking for the chance to prove and exercise this in some form. I have a degree in English Literature, and being quite independant, have found 9-5 type jobs tend to get me down. Does anyone know of any Sheffield - or more national - magazines, newspapers, or similar things, that are looking for young writing talent?

I don't have much experience in public writing: aside from winning various creative writing/poetry competitions when I was younger, I haven't really broadened that out. Which is why I'm looking to start now :) I'm also happy to take a voluntary position if the opportunity looks good enough.
