I have a dvd and i have heard its possible to rip whats on it onto the computer which you cna then watch and manipulate- by that, edit on movie maker and put on ipods etc etc etc

ive tried some IMtoo software and another one but none seem to work for me, im sure the disc isnt copywrited in that way, any tips or good programs to use anyone knows off??

smart ripper - ripper
tmgenc - encoder, converter

For putting it onto ipods, you want videora for PC or handbrake for mac. Just google them and you'll find plenty of links and how-to guides.
