Hi All,

Can anyone recommend any campsites between Sheffield and Manchester pls?

Wanting somewhere really quiet, basic facilities - just to get us away from it all (although would love a pub nearby!). Ideally no/little caravans around!

Cheers

Try Edale valley. Quiet and some are within walking distance of Edale itself.

Definitely 'Coopers' at Edale, lovely village, at the foot of Kinder Scout AND 2 lovely boozers minutes away, The Nags Head and The Rambler Inn in the most stunning part of the High Peak.

Hi
Why don't you try the Hope sites. The one on the right just before castle ton, set back from t he road is quiet.the other site that would be quiet with no caravans would be at edale.

North Lees near Hathersage (at the foot of Stanage Edge) or Upper Booth near Edale would both probably suit you - small, quiet, no caravans, basic but OK facilities.

There are campsites near to Castleton ... and if the weather is nice, its the best place to be!

Another vote for Edale (and particularly Upper Booth) from me.
