For some reason the Forum has been running slowly for some time. This problem only seems to occur on my laptop and not anywhere else though.

The same thing happens though both Firefox and IE. From starting the program the first few page changes on the forum go fine, but after about 4 or 5 page flicks it takes ages to load new pages (over a minute in some cases). If I restart Firefox or IE, it'll be fine again for another 4-5 page changes. Obviously, restarting my browser again and again is quite annoying.

The problem has completely baffled me because all other sites seem to be running fine, it's just the forum. :( I've run all virus checks and ad-ware checks that I know, Defragged all of the hard drive partitions, extended the page file, all sorts. Still the problem persists.

I also run a dual boot with Win2k and XP, and the problem occurs on both systems. I've also tried disabling the firewall (Sygate Pro), nothing.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm completely confused. :confused:

It could be linked to the logging-out problem that a lot of us are experiencing. It's fine for the first few clicks, and then I'm being logged out every few minutes.

I've noticed that the forum seems to be running slower than usual for the past couple of days.
