Most video/dvd recorders come with videoplus as standard, but i have never actually used it. And none of my friends put in those 9 digits for easy timer setting. So, is there anyone out there who actually uses it, or like me, do you prefere to set it manually.

I used to use it a lot when I bought the Radio Times. We've now got a video recorder that has too many buttons and gadget whatsits, so i wouldn't know where to find the Video+ function, even if I wanted to.

Apparently we can use it with our Panasonic DVD recorder but the instructions are quite complicated to get it to work.

I must get around to sorting it as it would make programming a little quicker.

Job for tomorrow evening i think.

Nope, use a hard disk recording freeview box now, just point and click the tv guide onscreen

Use it all the time, can set the video in a matter of seconds, don't know why anybody sets it manually anymore.

Not for years!

You don't need to if you have sky+.

Do people still use VCR's?

I don't use it because if the VCR clock isn't spot on with the TV signal you miss the ends of things. I woudl imagine it only really works if you also have PDC.

I use it on the few occasions there is anything worth watching. I'm glad Mrs Patchy doesn't know how to use it though, or we'd have a house full of tapes of x idol, pop factor, american idol/factor, and Quincy RIP.
