Can anyone shed light on or point me in the right direction for information on regeneration funding for owner occupiers in the shirecliff area.
In Spring 2005 I was sent a news sheet "It's Your Home" by Sheffield Homes & in it, it gave the phases of the regeneration program, at the end it says "This work will be carried out to owner occupiers across area P"
They have started work on our road (AREA P) and someone called to say Ours will be done at a later stage because we own our home.
He said we came under different funding yet I have seen houses that are owned (one round the corner) that have been done.
I was under the impression that the funding was for the regeneration of the area as a whole, which included owner occupiers.
The way they are carrying out these upgrades must be incurring heavier costs in the long run.
Where is the sense in doing a row of say 10 properties then missing an owner occupier and then doing the rest only to come back at sometime in the god knows when future, re-creating all the upheaval to finish off the ones they left.
As my dad would say if he were here now
Son, they couldn't organise a p*ss up in a brewery !!!
