I hope you all enjoy the long weekend, and it's even sunny outside (at the moment). Let's hope it lasts!

I'm making Hot Cross Buns to take to work tomorrow.

In the 17th century, Hot Cross Buns had a cross on the top to ward off evil spirits. During the reign of Henry VIII he banned people from making them as they suggested the catholic church. Elizabeth 1st then allowed people to only make them on special occasions. Good Friday being the only day.

Its twice as good because in 2004 Easter is celebrated on the same day by Catholics and Orthodox.

Mmmmmmmmm easter egg chocolate for breakfast!! Can't beat it!!

Is it just me or does easter egg chocolate taste extra nice?!!

I am a freak! I got a pair of lovely hair-straightners for Easter :thumbsup:
I dont like Easter eggs, never have done, just give em to my sister and have the mug instead... altho havnt seen the easter egg in mug thing for a while!!!!
Think its cos I have bizarre chocloate preferences, dont like chocolate on its own its got to have something in it like biscuit or caramel.
Plus the fact theres a big wish that if you get a big quality street egg you want it in fact to be a large hazelnut in caramel or something... or maybe that is just me :roll:
