Should we say our goodbye to TV/radio presenters when they end the show and say their goodbye to us?

My nan used to do it. But then, she was a bit batty by that stage.

Depends who it is.

If it's a really attractive woman, Kate Sanderson off Watchdog for example, I'd say something like "Ta ta darling" to the screen.

Sad I know but she's LOVELY! I would anyway ;)
