Im sure that there is a way that you can get a box or some thing that pops up on outlook express tell you that you have new mail ?

Anyone shed any light on this please ?

Outlook can notify with a 'Pop-Up' but Express will only do it with a sound and adding an icon in the system tray.
You can change the sound to one more noticeable.
You could change over to Outlook, or
You can find 3rd Party Utilities off the 'net that you can install to do it but watch out for spyware!
