Someone I know has recently started a job and has been warned about a couple of married people (not married to each other mind) who are having an almost public affair and are apparently at it like rabbits all the time around the office. Broom cupboards, private offices etc. Shocking behaviour apparently. It's like they're asking to be caught or something. :loopy:

Many years ago when I started work in a large office, there were eight women called Margaret. To avoid confusion, I soon learned that each had a nickname. One young lass was always referred to as Broom Hilda. :huh:

One day I innocently asked my boss why this particular Margaret had the nick-name Broom Hilda. There was a stunned silence, whilst one of the guys in the room quickly absented himself. After he'd departed, the office erupted in uncontrolled laughter, whilst I was informed which two members of the opposite sex had been discovered at the Christmas office party in a compromising position in the..... broom cupboard! :blush:

being caught "at it" in the office... well i once got caught doing some work in the office... i was devistated... i made sure it never happened again!

so i made my vow that whenever i was in the office in future my time should be spent on the phone to mates... surfing the interweb... looking for a new office to spend my time in... or fishing...

One of the few advantages of working in IT is that you have access to a large number of server rooms that are off limits to most people because of the large amount of equipment contained therein. These are lockable, air conditioned, clean and usually off the corporate 'beaten track'.

Many years ago I worked for one organisation where a couple of people in the IT department were known for making use of these rooms for trysts. One wag suggested that there should be some notices made up for these people to hang on the doors of the equipment rooms when they were using them. The notices were to have read 'Closed for servicing'.

Whilst this would have removed the risk of inadvertent psychological damage (to the poor bugger walking in to a room expecting to find a dozen file servers and instead finiding one of his superiors doing...things...) the head of department deemed that do do this would mean that the department (and hence the company) was condoning such behaviour and would therefore be liable under the Health and Safety at work act for injuries received if people fell off tables and such.

Only in IT. :)

no never caught anyone(pity) - but then again i've never been caught either.

there were loads at it where I used to work, pretty common place among the married men.

In the dixons call centre on the parkway, there is a security video of a couple who were at it in the middle of summer in the early hours on the grass embankment.....

Next time I will check for cameras !

Unfortunately yes...by the cleaner!!! The other party left leaving me to deal with the erm consequences - she kindly informed all my colleagues - who all happened to be male - Don't think I've ever gone quite so red!!!!

A work colleague, a small elderly chap with a bit of a limp, was visiting our Barnsley office. After his visit he went back to the car park to retrieve his vehicle. In the car park he discovered a couple. The man was in the process of, shall we say, pleasuring the young woman in a cunning way ;)

She noted the approach of my colleague and her response was thus:

To her friend "You carry on"
To my colleague "You f*** off"

One time in our department we had to make a corporate video outlining new changes that were to be made and the vision for the future.
People were chosen as actors from the employee range and take to London to perform the shoot in another office down there.

While on lunch break a woman in our Dept was caught perfoming the act of felacio on the cameraman hired that day for the shoot. And the story very quickly made it's way round pretty much the most of our department.

The lady in question too is married. Ooops!

When I worked for Social Services, I did once get naughty with my partner on my bosses desk (obviously my boss wasn't there at the time)

He'd annoyed me and I needed to make a personal statement.

Monthly supervision meetings after that were a piece of cake :hihi:

I was unfortunate enough to walk in on a colleague and our boss during an Xmas party. Both were married (but not to one another) and were enjoying a nice romantic tryst beside the Urinals in the Gents. She was on her knees on a wee drenched floor and was not playing a musical instrument ;)

I had to guard the door to stop anyone else catching them....

After xmas, my boss came to see me to find out what had happened - he had no memory of it! After recounting the sordid details and being told not to tell anyone else about it, i was offered a promotion:thumbsup:

I don't work in an office anymore. Also a manual worker so my once soft typing and drawing hands are now that little bit rougher around the edges.

I've not caught anyone at it in their own homes yet although I've caught a few ladies in their nighties. :hihi: Kept my hands and any lewd comments to myself though I might add. ;)

Yes, a couple I used to work with were well known for fondling (and even on a few occasions snogging!) in other peoples offices. And the worst of it its often one or more people were in the office not knowing what to do.
