Anyone go to Mansel school at Parson Cross in the late 80's?

I can't remember too many pupils or teachers so can you jog my memory??

I can remember Mr Dent, Mr Whitbread, Mr Evans he was my favourite.

I can remember les baxby but thats all.

Mr Dent does ring a bell. Did he teach at any other schools?

Never went to Mansel, just used the gym on their grounds.

Was Mr Whitbread still there? I'm sure he was there when I was in the late 60's /earlt 70's...............

or maybe it was a different one?

I never went as I am not from Sheffield but my children have been there over the last 10 years.

If Mr Evans did the music he had a stroke last year and is ok now but he came and did the concerts at Mansel until early last year.

Mrs Bell the head then is still about in Ecclesfield, where she lives.

Foe anyone that remembers Glenda Burbeary, she did the mother and toddlers club and then became a secretary at the school, well she left last Thursday after 24 years associated with the school.

oh my god i went to this school and i know all them old teachers. mr dent as well. i went to school with a girl called samantha shillito
