I know this is a really easy question, and one that someone's helped me with before, but since I messed with MSN (and IE too), I can't click the links anyone sends me. Can someone just remind me what I have to do please?
Thanking you in advance.
I think- and I'm guessing at this but I'm sure if you hold down CTRL or Shift before clicking a link it might load it for you.
Not too sure though as I use Mozilla myself.. tis miles better.
In the MSN main contact window, click Tools>Options>Security Tab, and check the box: "Allow links in conversation window".
Hope that helps.

Ann, I could swear it was you that helped me with the same thing the last time!
That sounds like the thing I'm trying to do, I'd kinda got the right idea, but was trying to do it in IE (tools, etc) rather then the MSN window - doh!
Anyway, can't try it yet 'cos I'm at work but I know that's the way to make it right. Thanks a lot mate. xxxx :D

Been home and tried this, unfortunately that's NOT the problem this time. It's kinda opening a new window when I click on the link, but the address isn't going into the address bar in the new window - it just stays blank.
Anyone got any other idea's about this?
Ta.... x
System restore back to a time before everything messed up?
Sorry BG, I can't think of anything else.

AHA ! this sounds like a problem my mate had ......... you may need to check (if you have more than 1 browser enabled like IE & mozilla) you will need to have 1 set as a default browser .... or your machine cant open the link as it doesnt know which browser should open it .... if thats not the case i dunno ..... lemme know thx

Not sure if it did work itself out actually, cos it's rare I use it now, but that sounds like the right answer actually, cos I DO have two browsers (I can never make my mind up which one I like best...).
I'll give this a go and get back to you! Thanks a lot - and don't worry bout the age of the thread! :) :D
