This year, I want to try growing a mixture of different potatoes. Is there anywhere nearby or online where I can buy a mixture of two or three different kinds of seed spuds? I'd like to try some of the rarer varieties if possible, along with some traditional favourites.

Apparently Middletons at bottom of the moor sell loose seed potatoes, according to their facebook page they got them in around the end of Jan.
Havent had any myself as not been to the shop yet, but apparently Beanies in Crookes has a wide range of seed potatoes including some of the more unusual vaieties. According to the flyer they are £1.60 a kg but looks like you could easily pick and mix as it says to order in the number of tubers you would like. Vaieties listed on flyer are:
Earlies: Pentland Javelin, Colleen, Maris Bard, Swift, Witchill
Second Earlies and Salad Varieties: Maris Peer, Trixie, Aura, Bambino, Charlotte, Pink fir apple, Linda
Maincrop: Ambo, Arran Victory, Yetholm gypsy, Remarka, Forty Fold, Desiree, Highland Burgundy red, Sarpo Mira, Setanta
Says they are certified diesease free and a large number of the varieties have been organically grown.

Middletons have about 20 varieties packed or loose.
B&M down the other end of town have amazingly got about 18 varieties, and almost next door, Wilkinsons have a dozen or so.
