View Full Version : Calling all Blades fans....
syko1979 03-03-2006, 09:17 This a polite to all those fans who are letting their nerves and/or pessimistic nature get the better of them.
IF YOU CANNOT BE SUPPORTIVE AND KEEP YOUR NEGATIVE COMMENTS TO YOURSELF PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE MATCH.
At this stage of the season it is CRUCIAL that we get behind them ESPECIALLY if they're not playing well.
I know it can be difficult to be up for it when the perfomance is below par but I think the effort put in by the team and backroom staff warrant a little effort on our part.
Also, please remember that we are SECOND in the league and are 7 points clear of our nearest rival.
If you think we're struggling at the moment have a word with a Millers fan.
LETS GET BEHIND'EM! COME ON YOU RED AND WHITE WIZAAAAAAARDS:clap:
matt1889 03-03-2006, 09:42 You see tonight will show us who the Doubters and non-faithfuls are, In fact I can go as far as saying I hate it when United have cheap matches at The Lane, because all of the Slime climb out of the gutter to come and watch us, the same slime that spend half an hour of a match booing players and shouting for Warnocks head, the slime that probably would have only watched United that one time in all of the season, but still think United are'nt very good and are adiment on booing and jeering at every opportunity!
I will be on The Kop, singing my little bol*cks off, And I know all of the true fans will be with me all the way, I know that we are going to absolutely rip Crewe to shreads tonight, 4-1 to The Blades without a doubt in my mind!
Matt
carcrash 03-03-2006, 10:09 I don't get to many matchs due to the job I do. I'm a music promoter/live eveny manager and I work most saturdays. I was hoping to go tonight but I've just had a call asking if I can sort a gig out tonight at The Earl.
I am nervious about the situation we are in. I'm a blade for gods sake and I have been for the last 36 years. How much dissapointment and heartbreak have I seen. I'm enjoying been Yorkshires number 1 team but I also remember Harry Haslems team having a massive lead going into the new year and end up finishing mid table.

Agent Gypo 03-03-2006, 10:36 Any Wednesday fans looking forward to relegation?
OwlsChick 03-03-2006, 10:40 Any Wednesday fans looking forward to relegation?
Me i would be
if we was getting relegated :loopy:
On that note though, Any united fans looking forward to promotion???
HAHAHAHAHA Yeah You Wish :P
syko1979 03-03-2006, 10:55 Can we not have pointless banter on this thread?
I was really after comments from Blades about the moaners and whingers.
Agent Gypo 03-03-2006, 10:55 Promotion is looking good, though the situation could be better.
Looking at Wednesdays remaining games, you are unlikely to take many points from them. Let's hope the teams below you can string a few wins together.
So fingers crossed, it could be a very special end to the season for Blades.

meaning???
A.B.Yaffle 03-03-2006, 11:34 I'm taking our 8-yr-old to the match tonight, and we have played well in the games she has been to, so lets hope that continues! May have to take some earplugs for her though as we are sitting a row or 2 behind where Neil stands.
A.B.Yaffle 03-03-2006, 11:36 I agree with the first post. Our "fans" must be the most fickle in the whole country. Within a few months Neil went from being a devil who must be sacked to a god who could do no wrong... now he appears to be turning into the devil again for some "fans".
I wonder what other team's supporters would be moaning about being in 2nd place? Probably none.
Agent Gypo 03-03-2006, 11:43 I've always thought Warnock was the right man for the job, and still do. Though I can see the merit in calling for his head IF we don't get promoted this season, purely because of the money he's spent and time he's been in the job. I think Warnock knows it would be difficult to stay if we are in the Chapionship next season..
I think he'll get us up there though.
Robbie Loving 03-03-2006, 14:38 meaning???

Kick-off delayed
Tonight's game with Crewe will now kick-off at 8pm. The delay is to give the game every chance to go ahead, and everyone is making strenuous efforts to that end.

Too bad they didnt call it off :suspect:
Finished work and went to the pub and managed to catch the 2nd half, There was only one team in it really because Crewe were never going to score.
Cant believe Adi didnt go down when that bloke was all over him because it would have deffo been a penalty.
It should have been a penalty anyways but the Ref was :loopy:
On the day we just wern't good enough but its another point on the way to Premiership football

A blind man walks into a Sports Shop and asks for a football with his clubs emblem on it,
the assistant in the shop says, "Why waste your money, as your blind just buy the cheaper plain ball."
The blind guy says I might be blind but i could tell you any emblem on any ball in your shop, the assistant takes the blind man over to the footballs and hands him a ball, "What emblem's on that ball then?
The blind man puts it to his ear and quickly says "Norwich", the assistant is amazed and asks the guy how he did it, the blind guy said "When I listen to the ball I could hear Canaries.
The stunned shop assistant hands him another ball, the blind guy quickly says "Newcastle" and said he could hear the Magpies.
The shocked Shop assistant hands him a third ball and in record time the blind man says, "Sheffield Wedn*sday", WOW the assistant says, "Did you hear Ow*s hooting?
"No", the blind man replies, "That one was the easiest as it's going down...It had to be Wedn*sday!"
