Does anybody know where i can take my wife for her birthday at the end of march she loves seafood but i dont know any places anyone help:help:

2 come to mind,The Terrace at Hathersage and Mediterranean on Sharrowvale road(I think)both good,

Mediterranean is on Sharrowvale road and we went for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and it was lovely

Blue Fin on Hunter's Bar roundabout was stunning last time I went there.

Meditaranian is v. good - Thyme's now split into Artisan + Catch - catch being the seafood restaurant. Probably very good!

BlueFin is quite rated for seafood...I'bve been recently with a group of people, I personally didn't enjoy it much (I'm vegetarian and didn't really like the veggie options) but the other people thought the seafood was amazing :thumbsup:

Another vote here for Blue Fin - I'm not a very seafoody person but I thought it was outstanding.

Haven't tried Catch yet, but I'd be amazed if it wasn't the best seafood restaurant in Sheffield. Richard Smith is the best chef in the city by a country mile - Smith's was the best restaurant in the city, and when he replaced that with Thyme, that became the best. I've been to the new downstairs bit, Artisan, and it's absolutely fabulous, on a par with the best in the country. So I reckon Catch will be up there too!

Out of the two - meditteranean and catch, I'd go to Catch. Especially if the occasion is a special one!

This is to say thank you for everyone who suggested the Meditaranian for a great seafood place i went for my birthday yesterday and it was the best meal i have ever had and the service was so friendly, thank you!! :D
