Hi

I work from home selling Usborne Childrens books and all my posters and adverts around Sheffield have my postal address on them, Just wondered what your views are on "displaying my address".

Also im in the middle of producing my website - a very basic one with very little website design knowledge. I was to be able to accept orders by downloading a order form and sending me the payment - Again should I put address on my website - or any ideas how to get around this.

i dont mind giving my address out to people that seem right, but you can never be to sure and this is my home!

Thanks

Amanda

You should be ok, but it might be best to put the area that you live in, and an email address/contact number so they can reach you?

I have email address and telephone numbers on everything - its just the address for posting orders to me!

I'd be wary, but then again I am paranoid LOL.

Could you get a PO Box?

Also, be wary of having your email address on your website; spambots can pick it up and you'll get inundated with spam. The people in the computer section will be able to tell you more about this, but I think you can get around it by having your email address as an image file, and posting that on the web site instead.
