Heya all.
Hoping someone can help me out. I regularly go to watch the rugby on a friday and saturday night with a few of my mates and have been since I started uni here 2 1/2 years ago. Trouble is Walkabout where we normally go has stopped putting the commentary on and can be pretty expensive.
Know that RSVP sometimes put it on if you ask but was wondering if anyone knew of any other bars/pubs in the city centre that might show it?

You might be better off trying somewhere more local depending on where you live. But it s often hard to get commentry on unless its a big game in town centre places?

League or Union by the way? Not that it matters the response is the same.

League - wouldn't buy a drink to watch Union if you paid me.

I live in the city centre and my mates who I watch it with live up City Road.

I'm don't think they play many matches, but i've watched some rugby at Bar One at the Sheffield University Union before. This has mainly been the 6-nations i must add!

100% with you on the League v union I spent last weekend in prague trying to find a bar with Hull v Warrington as opposed to the Kick and clap!

Good stuff Sheffnewb, I support Wigan and me mates support Saints and Warrington. Makes for some interesting post-match discussion :D
