I used to love this Sheffield band who were around a few years ago. I've been trying to track down a single of their called What If Everyone You Ever Loved... and the usual places - ebay/amazon/soulseek etc have proved fruitless. I was just wondering then if anyone had a copy lying around they'd be willing to sell for a reasonable price/do me a copy of?
Cheers

Have you tried their old record company? They may still have copies, as it doesn't say it's deleted, like it does for the album.

PM me if you have no luck.
I noticed they have a myspace the other day.

Hi KEF5,
What If Everyone You Ever Loved Wasn't There is just about impossible to get hold of. Believe me, I have been trying to find a copy for nearly two years now.
However if you are interested, due to the kindness of a number of members from the Seafruit Yahoo Group Site, and my own purchasing power, I do have a copy which was sent to me by email as an mp3 file and which is now on a 14 track CD featuring every Seafruit song that didn't appear on the German (and therefore slightly longer) release of their one and only CD album. These tracks include the aforementioned song, plus b-sides, sampler tracks and mp3 files from the band's now defunct site.
If you fancy a copy I'm sure that we could come to an arrangement. It comes in a CD jewel case, with booklet, back cover and CD label, all designed by myself based on the art work from the bands CD singles.
Incidently, I hear that Seafruit's lead singer, Geoff Barradale, is managing the Arctic Monkeys. Perhaps that may lead to renewed interest in Seafruit and some of their work being re-released.

I've already sorted him with mp3s of the single. However, I did forget offer him the songs that were from their old site.
You've just reminded me that I don't have the 2 songs from the German album, that didn't appear on anything else. It sounds like you have a lot more that I don't though.
I could never understand why the band were so ignored at the time. Hello World and Looking For Sparks are 2 of my all time favourite songs.
Let's start the Seafruit revival right here!!

I thought seafruit were great also.
I have their single "Hello World" and you have just inspired me to stick it in my PC and play it

I have 28 songs by Seafruit. Fourteen from the German album, including Assassin which appeared as a hidden track and fourteen tracks on my bootleg CD.
If you want any of the songs I can always send them as mp3 files. They are all listed on the Seafruit Yahoo Group Site, but I can list them again if people are interested.

It appeared on the UK release of their album. But it obviously didn't sell many copies.

YES!!! Spread the word! We might be 6/7 years too late, but never mind!
