It's 9 p.m., and I was just flicking through the channels on Sky, when I came across BBC4 showing The Clangers.

I always thought this "kids" programme to be rather more. A bit like Bill and Ben with the hidden expletives.

If you want more Clangers, they're on Nickelodeon Jr at 9.30, channel 618, followed by another classic kids' show, Bagpuss.

Yeah yeah I know at nearly 30 I'm too old for that kind of thing, but ah the good old days of kids' telly, they don't make 'em as good any more.
