cos i prefered the palais which had most nights i went to

including the tuesday student night and the dance nights on saturdays
and the gigs, think i saw hawkwind there, seen the magic mushroom band there in the "other" half

Yep I'm going with the Palais as well, every Tuesday and Thursday night without fail.

Where was the Palais. i never knew that club.

I was living in Leeds in the early nineties but my favourite Sheffield club was and still is the Leadmill 'cos nowhere else has played what I tend to like consistently.

Rebels !! even though I had a grade two haircut, and got some funny looks, and was told on several occasions 'I think you're in the wrong club mate' I loved it, all my mates were rockers, shame it shut down, I miss sticking to the floor becasue of the beer that was all over it, then trying to negotiate the stair case at 2.10am due to the copious amounts of Red Stripe I had consumed !!!
