I'm interested in a house at the moment, but among a small number of snags I have noticed that one of the taps in the bathroom sink s very loose. you can turn the entire thing by its nozzle with almost no force. Is it a big job to get it properly secured? Is it just a case of tightening a nut or two, or does it need to be properly sealed by a professional?
One of my taps was loose in the bathroom all my hubby did was tighten it with some grips and its done the trick, and it doesn't spin round now.
But i have been waiting months for him to do it ????
Just get some mole grips underneath the sink to tighten the securing nut and you should be OK.

There is a large nut underneath that needs tightening. Usually straightforward, but there may be some corrosion that may make it stiff.
There should also be a seal (usually rubber) between the metal of the tap and the surface of the sink.
So it looks like a very small job I could do myself? Cool. Thanks guys.
As for a (rubber) seal between the metal of the tap and the sink, I didn't get a close enough look, but presumably I could find something suitable down at B&Q...?
10 minute job, all items cheap(ish).
