Marcus Trescothic has flown home for personal reasons,
Michael Vaughan has had a reocurrance of his career threatening knee injury and is coming home,
Simon Jones has collapsed in Agony after an injury to his other knee not the one which has had him sidelined since the Ashes series.
Kevin Peterson is suffering with a back problem.
Several players were reported to be ill with stomach problems in the last week.

Has the squad been cursed?
We were used to hearing about England collapses before the Michael Vaughan era, but now it seems they are collapsing before the main matches have even started.

Just seen that Derek Bickerstaff of the Thornbury Hospital is the orthopaedic surgeon looking after Vaughan and Jones.

He did my Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction in 1996. Good bloke and regarded as one of the best in the country I think.
