I am a member of the Tourette Syndrome Association and was a regular user of their forum. Unfortunatley, they have closed it down without notifying any of their members :-( I've set up a new forum and we have a decent number of users who have joined by word of mouth (users of the old forum)

Obviously we can only get in touch with those we have emails for and we'd like to reach a wider audience.

What is the best way to promote a message board/forum so that others will hear of it when searching?

You can ask permission from admin to post the url in your signature, here....as I have.

You can add to Google here (http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl);
and to MSN here (http://beta.search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx).

There are loads of other search engines that you can add to.

Ermm I have no idea because I have never watched it! It causes vocal and motor tics and is often combined with Obsessive compulsive behaviours and ADHD.

Anyway ........ how do I go about submitting it to a search engine?
