I would love a bit of help with a case study that i am currently working on.

I am training to be a social worker and would really appreciate a bit of help.

I didnt want to put all the boring bits on here, so i thought i could pm someone, if anyone would be good enough to help?

I really need this. Please! I hope its not too much to ask on a saturday night!

Its about the different orders for children, when they are taken into care-temporarily and permanent, things like residence order, care order etc.

Should have really said that in the first place! Sorry!

I dont suppose you will have done much of that? Thanks for offering, i am starting to think theres no one out there!

It is not for me to volunteer others, but if you do a little searching on here you will find at least one member that you could contact directly (with all necessary inducements, of course!).

However, their willingness to help may or may not be affected by the way you chose to trash your lecturers elsewhere on this forum!

Thanks! I have done exactly that, i did think about that person, but thought if they saw this thread first, then i would rather wait for them to offer, but really still not sure of my still present question, so what the hell!

Lets hope that their willingness to help isnt affected by my honesty!

Anyone else out there with knowledge of child protection is most welcome!

Is you avatar what i think it is?!

I have pulled quite a bit of stuff off the net about residence orders, supervision orders etc. from here:

http://www.frg.org.uk/index.asp

Also I have a booklet on court orders for children which is given to anyone involved in this process, I think this came to me via my solicitor or the childrens SW. But I suspect it is not in depth enough for you.

Will start to have a look on there, thanks so much.

Not on the advice sheets? Children in care of local authority, Placement within the family etc.?
