View Full Version : Is hair gel bad for you? I've never heard of that. Hecate 25-02-2006, 16:56 Doubt it. If you use lots of the super-strong stuff, then you try to brush or comb it out, you might end up pulling a bit more hair out than what usually comes out in your hair brush. I don't think using the gel itself will do any damage, at least I haven't heard so. Jake01 25-02-2006, 17:01 I mean does your hair eventually fall out after a long period of time like people sometimes say? Not to my knowledge.... I still use it on my bald patch.... makes my head shine. :D shoeshine 25-02-2006, 17:03 After a long period of time, I would venture that it's ageing that causes the problem, rather than the gel. Mind you, the RAF Aircrew serving in WW2 were known as "The Brylcreem Boys", and I bet most of them have thinning hair now.:) So there might be a shade of truth in the rumour. |
