Does anyone know if a complete set of Star Wars dvds will be released at any time? The only ones I have are on video and I'd like the full box set if ever it gets released.

Anyone know any sites where I can check on DVD box set release dates please? :)

Incidentally I was in the Oasis at Meadowhall today and as I was walking through the Lanes a couple of stormtroopers in full authentic costume came around the corner in front of me. :D I just looked, looked again and thought....COOOOOL! :thumbsup: :hihi:

The troopers were part of a Silverscreen promotion to win DVDs. I should've got a picture on my phone but there were too many kids around and I didn't want to look like a prat. :blush:

There was a big dalek too and some ballroom dancers (random). I too want a full Star Wars box set. Maybe in time for Christmas??

Yeh I'm not quite sure what the relevance of the ballroom dancers was, although they were quite good. :) Didn't see the Dalek but maybe I was just mesmerized by the Stormtroopers. :D :hihi:

They had David Prowse in WH Smiths a while back as well iirc, you know the bloke who wore the Darth Vader suit in the original trilogy?! And also who played the green cross code man in the road safety adverts that were on TV in the 70s?

I think it was a promotion last year back when they brought the original trilogy out on DVD for the first time.

Stormtroopers Wow! is all i can say... fab outfits... altho a little scary seeing people dressed up in a shopping centre carrying guns... :suspect: think i watch too much Crime watch! :huh:

Couldnt believe my eyes for a second when i saw them appear from around the corner... almost walked into them :o the dancers were good too... :)

I think a complete full Star Wars DVD set is rumoured to be released sometime in 2007, as that will be the 30th anniversary.
