If you know where they do one, please post and let me know where please. If i am lucky I may get a choice of not driving or if not to great a distance a taxi and been able to have a drink also.

Its a large kind of double lamb chop, which you eat with veg and stuff, very tasty indeed. Very big in barnsley and I know I can get one in Castleton well could about three years ago. If your not a veggie and you ever see one on the menu, you wont be disappointed.

For a great Barnsley Chop, it has to be Le Bistro in Wentworth Rotherham - not Sheffield, but worth the travel, you do need to book in advance. Enjoy:thumbsup:

Brooklands hotel in Barnsley is known for its Barnsley chop , junction 37 but worth the trip probably.
Not that I'd know having never eaten one!

Doesn't the true Barnsley chop have the kidney attached to it? Weren't they banned some years ago along with the T bone steak......then re-instated? Some foody scare or another.
Anyhow.....I suppose the best place to get a barnsley chop is in barnsley.
Hope you find somewhere really nice Kaity, and enjoy yourselves.
