Due to the fact that I have bumped into quite a few Leicester fans in various threads on this board, I was wondering how many there were on these boards. I am a student at sheff uni and live back in leicestershire in the hols. Would like to hear from any other leicester fans out there in sheffield.

Not a Leicester fan but did have probably my most memorable football day at filbert street in 1990. The Blades won 5-2 to take us up to the old first division on the final day of the season. the icing on the cake as any true Blade or Wednesday fan for that matter will tell you is that they were relegated on the same day to division two. Things just dont get any better than that.

That was and is the best football memory I have, what an amazing day - blazing hot sunshine, Blades winning and getting promoted, Wednesday relegated and the fans crying :) I was actually sat on the edge of the pitch for half the game as the stand was so full the stewards let some of the kids climb over (me being one of them). When the next season started the photo on front of the programme for the first few matches was of me and the other kids singing - I'm just about bang in the middle :D

If anyone has that picture I'd love to be able to get hold of it - managed to lose my programmes over the years and haven't found another yet :(

Anyone else who was there remember our tactics on corners? Line up everyone on the edge of the box and all run in together! Then everytime we scored the pitch was swamped in luminous yellow shirts as everyone piled on the pitch. It was more like a party than a football match, almost brings a tear to my eye! :D

er, no worse than that, Exeter City. you may remember them as they used to be a football league team once.
