having lived in Sheffield for 4 years before moving away to seek fame and fortune we're wanting to move back.

Could anyone tell me if there are any IT/computing companies in the region?

Sanderson is probably the largest in Sheffield which I believe is their Headquarters.

Walkley's brilliant. I lived in Crookes for 20 years and moved to Walkley 2 years ago. Steer clear of some of the terraced housing off South Road which are going for silly prices. There are a couple of reasonably priced ones on W Cresc Rd at the mo.

Walkley's got a small shopping centre strung along South Road, plenty of pubs, regular buses to town and Hillsborough, a couple of restaurants,.....

The only thing missing is a cinema.
