Word! We’re putting on an intimate gig at the Redhouse on February the 12th as part of the Dexter Dexterous and the Fingersmiths UK tour. Support comes from local heroes Smiling Ivy and Chronicles of Graham as well as DJ sets from Soulful Sally and the Cool Beans DJs. Did someone say groovy?
DEXTER DEXTEROUS AND THE FINGERSMITHS
Known by many as “The Funk and Soul White Boys”, Leeds based DD and the Fingersmiths blend together funk, reggae and hillbilly-folk in creating the finest up-tempo party music. Some of you may also know them as the horn/circus skills providers for circus-rave favourites Slamboree or perhaps you’ve caught them at the likes of Kendal Calling and Sol-Fest. They’re rooted in musical mischievousness, they’ve got a barnstorming 4-piece brass section and they’ll be bringing their brand spanking new EP with them. Great!

SMILING IVY
Local boys Smiling Ivy have released a plethora of records and played alongside the likes of Frank Turner, Dreadzone, Zion Train and many others. Known for getting the party started, they fuse reggae, ska, funk and rock and roll. Been wanting to get them on at Cool Beans for ages but an unfortunate bull-wrestling incident left both their guitar players with broken limbs. All good though, they’ve fully recovered and are “ready to bring the riddims” which is fantastic news.

CHRONICLES OF GRAHAM
Very excited to announce the return of the Graham to a Cool Beans line up. They kicked off our Tramlines proceedings in the summer and rammed out the place despite it only being 1 in the afternoon. They played a hundred different styles and have about a million members, including Trikboi, Mr Icus, Little Teddy, Mr & Mrs CoxStar Deluxe, The Budda Sez No, Brogue The Rogue, Mr & Mrs Apron, Nervous Dave, Diddley Dee, Big Daddy Blues, Pimp Daddy Porter and Lloyd (Mr & Mrs Aprons' dog).

There you have go! It’s on a Sunday so we’ll be starting early, £2 entry before 8PM, £3 afterwards. The Redhouse has cheap booze deals as well so that’s a plus. See you then you lovely people.
