Does anybody know anything about 07005 numbers?
Mr Strix has jus tattempted to answer his phone, but as it didn't ring for long, he registered a missed call from an 07005 number.
Googling the number turned up nothing more interesting than a string of ads for 'personal numbers' - which it seems can be taken with you when you move house, and double up your mobiile with your landline (or something, I wasn't quite following it really)
The ads were emblazoned with claims that your 'roving charges' would be eliminated. BT charges for calling these numbers are up to 30 odd p per min - about the same as ringing a mobile.
Does anybody know anything else about them, as I don't trust marketing tripe ;)
