There's one in Hilsborough, just up from the fishmongers. But if that's a little out of your way, the pet shop at the bottom of the Moor usually has a good number of the feathered blighters for sale.

May be able to pick up one from the pet shop on Abbeydale Road, going towards town, on the left just past Marden Road, before the Broadfield. The pet shop on South Road has now closed

Well everytime I go in the "pets r us" shop near me there seem to be tons. I have a bird phobia, and have to brave it and go very near the tweeting cage to pick up food for my ferrets.
Actually it isn't called "pets r us", but it is that kind of shop-on Chesterfield Road, in the new shopping bit with Matalan and Readmans. Just past Arnold Lavers on the right as you go out of town.

Sorry Kirky------NO, in a short word. Why are you looking for a pint now instead of a budgie? Best Wishes Tets.

The shop in question is called Pets At Home and I would recommend it.

We got Tiddles, our hamster, from there. Lovely shop.
