went last night very nice posh surroundings.
burning torches to light the driveway,posh crisps for nibble.
excellent 4 course meal plus coffee, and as a special occasion not bad price @ £30 each.
silver service the works couldn't ask for more.

have been many times (since the first week it opened!), though less in the last few years. Can't agree more almost unbeatable for 'atmosphere' and a 'sense of occasion'. Not haute cuisine but not silly prices either. You can stay overnight too, not cheap but the rooms are fantastic.
