My sister in law is trying to contact an old friend, her maiden name was Brenda Simms, she married and became Barker, then divorced, don't know current name? Lived at Handsworth on the Triangle first.

Think I know the Brenda you're talking about. She did divorce Al Barker and married again (and divorced again!) if it is the same person. She worked at Balfour Darwins when I began there and had many many jobs after that. Haven't seen her for a long time but heard only last week that she has married yet again!!
