Hi everyone, I'm planning a 21st party :partyhat: in Sheffield and want to hire a classy venue for the nite on a thursday nite, was hoping for takapuna, but sadly they have just started a nite running on a thursday so i can't hire it, so was wonderin if anyone had any ideas of nice bars with a late lisence? Was thinkin of around 100-150 people, want a good atmosphere so don't want anywhere too big. Any suggestions would be more than welcome tho!! :idea: Really want a great party to remember (or not :hihi: !!) Thanx xxx

You can hire most places out i think , you could try somewhere like halcyon, upstairs at revolution? just give places you like a ring
matrix is good for hiring :)

what about runaway girl on arundel street?
150 might be a bit a of squeeze, but for 100 it would be just perfect.
theres also the priory, tucked to the left hand side of the catherdral. thats really nice and chilled, but im not sure what time their license goes to.

If you promise a good turnout, the Westend Pub on Glossop Rd will prolly give you their top room for free, and even help you organise food.

You could try the empire but ive already got the empire bar on thursdays. But you can throw your party there and let me DJ :-)

ooh, just had another thought.
theres the harley by the university tram stop. thats quite a nice size, and they have offers on cocktails during the week.

Upstairs at the Vodka Revolution is ok. It was £50 to hire it but the let anyone in after 9.00pm (but that was on a saturday nite so it may be different on a thursday). have fun where ever u decide. xx

On a thursday Crystal has nothing going on upstairs. Call and ask to speak to Steve he may even give you members lounge for free 2725926.

Definitely recommend Halcyon, dj'd a couple of functions there and it is a really nice little venue
I enjoyed a party at Cubana a few years ago. Not sure what its like now.
