I have just started using internet explorer as my browser and have found that it is blocking pop ups that I need.
I’ve tried going in to Tools and turning off the pop up blocker but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.
Any suggestions?

You could always right-click, then "Open In New Window" - this might work. Or, on many computers, it seems if you hold Ctrl and click, it allows pop-up windows.

When it blocks a pop-up, you should get an icon in your status bar, at the bottom of your screen. If you click on this (I can't remember whether it's right or left click), you can set it to allow pop-ups on a particular site.

Also, click Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Pop-up blocker settings, and set the pop-up filter to Medium. This will block most pop-ups, but it usually allows things like internet banking windows, chat rooms etc.

if you want to over ride it - and allow a pop up, you hold the control key as you click. (I don't know how you do this if you are left handed:mad: )
