I as a participant in angling do not. it creates more revenue than just about any other sport, the money it makes goes to cleaning rivers and protecting wild life,of course it should not be banned, how can you even contemplate such a thing ?:thumbsup:

No...i see nothing wrong with any sport of this kind,after all man is the ultimate preditor .....And if you think Hunting with dogs has been abolished you should attend a Hunt ,nothings changed or is likely to in the foreseeable future i attend Hunts from time to time and its business as usual.

I've heard of this, it's very rare and usually happens on a subconcious level. Yes, of course fishing should be banned. The common maggot, or indeed worm, has a fully developed set of pain receptors, and as such, running them through with a hook is absolutely barbaric. You should all be ashamed of yourselves...

I would suggest that the majority of participants in Angling are Labour voters, do you really think pi**ing off 3 million plus voters by banning it would be a smart move?
