Having managed without one for about 4 years I suddenly find I need some software to help me out. Getting a bit muddled. Cant remember what we used to use, perhaps it was Microsoft SChedule/Calendar but it was very old software I remember. I want something that offers forward day by play project planning with deadlines, appointments, that will issue audio warnings and visual messages, stuff like that. Before we have Schedule running on the network but dont really need a network solution, something so I can manage day to day tasks and not get in such a mess trying to multi task all at once for a deadline.


Any software recommendations? There used to be something like this in Outlook, but we now only have Outlook Express.

Have you come across Microsoft Project ?

It is a very steep learning curve but for tracking projects it is the business.

You can also get MS Project server which sits ummm on a server and sends instructions out from the project managers desktop
