I have a large 2 bed council house in Dagenham, Essex it comes with the RTB, has GCH & is double glazed throughout.

Both bedrooms are doubles and extremely spacious, my front living room is a parlour type and is roughly about 22ft in lenght, my house has a nice and well maintained 60ft back garden which is fenced, and the houses that surround my house are privately owned.

Dagenham is a really quiet area, and my house is located in a highly desirable road, it has an excellent reputation, it has shops directly opposite the house as well as Bus routes and the London Underground tube station which runs on the district line.

From my location it is very easy to get to London, Ilford, Romford, Barking & Southend and honestly only takes a matter of minutes to get to these areas if you need to do so.

There are some excellent schools within walking distance both primary and secondary, there are also colleges and universities a short bus ride away.

Hi Macbeth, thanks for your response, but yes I am already registered with HOMESWAP and also 11 other house exchange sites and I am also registered with SPS for what good its doing me.

Who would of thought moving could be this hard all me and my partner want is to be together.

I am in talks with a lady from Beighton at the moment regarding a 3 way swap as she wants to move to Luton but if those people that have the council property in Luton dont like my place in Dagenham then all bets are off and its back to the drawing board yet again, but Im not holding my breath because even a straight simple exchange is difficult to come by what with all the lies and timewasters out there.

It is frustrating but what can you do, I am in no position to buy and I dont want to rent because I want to get a dog plus if I did rent I would loose my discount with the right to buy because even if Im in no position to buy now maybe I would be a few years from now who knows but I still want that option available to me.

I will just keep my fingers crossed and hope to god someone out there from Sheffield wants a move to my neck of the woods.
