View Full Version : The Last Train qazitory 31-03-2004, 15:10 Anyone remember the ITV drama from a few years back??? Tony 31-03-2004, 17:32 Yes, I remember it. Why do you ask? WintersMist 05-04-2004, 09:57 It was an amazing program! I would like it on DVD, not sure that they do it though. That film has stayed with me since, I still remember clips now. 28 Days Later is another amazing film with it similar to The Last Train. crowefan 07-04-2004, 20:20 yes I enjoyed it wierd though I recognised sheffield, as I have lived here for 14 years, and also recognised a broken down holiday seaside park ( for some of the later story) which was filmed in my home town of prestatyn north wales!! wierd eh? qazitory 16-04-2004, 17:23 I just remember it was really good until the end episode, which ruined it for me. Kry10 15-06-2004, 15:35 This mini-series/film had some scenes filmed across from where I live, Middlewood Hospital, I have some of the scenery from the program and a friend of mine has one of the street signs they used, when they was filming there was a street with half destroyed buildings and burned out cars with pretend dead people in them with fake blood everywhere, very spooky looking, very much like walking through an apocolyptic street. What's even more weird is I have lived in Sheffield most of my life and my family come from Prestatyn........ I have the complete series on video. Ady  BongMonster 15-06-2004, 21:49 was a wicked series like to see it again. alchresearch 17-06-2004, 19:34 It would be good if they released it on DVD. If you look hard enough you may find a ".torrent" knocking about. crowefan 18-06-2004, 14:42 Originally posted by Steel_City_Ady What's even more weird is I have lived in Sheffield most of my life and my family come from Prestatyn........ Ady  wierd!!!!!!!! where did you get the vieo from??? regards john Steel_City_Ady 18-06-2004, 20:40 same place as anyone else - I videoed it off the TV  Ady ps I believe it was repeated somepoint.. maybe on Sci-fi channel... DannyBoy 25-06-2004, 15:36 It wasn't a bad idea, and the final twist was good, but the first and last episodes were the best. The middle four sagged horribly and just made it seem like a good 2-hour TV movie stretched into a 6-part format. Very linear too - we just followed the same group of 10 people for six episodes. You'd think they'd have split them up to make it a bit more interesting. It took them one-and-a-half episodes to get the flipping van out of that pit with the wild boar (or whatever it was) inside it. (And Sheffield station had to double for Chesterfield early on, which was quite funny.) |
