does anyone know if theres any boxing clubs in woodhouse or handsworth, i'm after taking my young son he's 8, i might even put a pair of mitts on myself, any info would be great...thx

Have you tried the Tythe Barn Gym? Opposite the small co-op

yeah thats just weights, there used to be loads about but they've either packed up or the premises they were in have been demolished, maybe there's a club in darnall or the manor???

Tithe Barn Gym isn't just weights anymore, they've put an extra floor in with some cardio and boxing equipment and on a Saturday morning run a boxing class. I'm a regular there and my mate also takes his young lad to Boxing Training.

If you pop in and have a word with Andy the owner he'll tell you all about it.
