View Full Version : Cat Shot Hutcliffe wood road
MuteWitness 18-02-2006, 16:56 My mums cat was shot by a pellet gun on thursday in the Hutcliffe wood road area - maybe in the Cemetery. The pellet is wedged near the spine and the vets wont remove it. The cat is very skitty so its unlikely she went near anyone - she was from the RSPCA and probably didnt have a good start in life so this cant make her life any better.
If anyone lives in this area be very careful letting your cat out and keep checking that your cat is okay. Luckily one of the neighbours found the cat and brought her back.
Please be very vigilant.
fred_notdead 18-02-2006, 17:07 I'd rather have a dog, than a cat, they make better friends once trained.
That's my opinion - you got yours and I got mine!!!!!!!!

What a pointless remark! :loopy:
That cat is someones pet and is probably loved quite a lot. She was just trying to warn other cat owners in the area to be on their guard for these idiots who think it's funny to do things like this to peoples pets.

Yeah, um, cheers for your input.
My cat is one of the best pets I've ever had, and I'd be devastated if anything like this happened to her - and I live just off Hutcliffe Wood road so I'm keeping her in tonight!
And, for the record, cats are better than dogs. You don't have to train cats - they train you

I agree, cats seem to like houses more than people.
Im not into cats or dogs, but the person who did this is just pure scum,
hope the furry fellas going to be ok .

You just haven't met the right cat yet :).
The person that did this is beneath contempt. What sort of sick pondlife goes around popping off airguns at cats? At any living creature for that matter?
I hope the poor little thing makes a speedy recovery.

yes I agree, it was a pointless remark, you wasn't asked your choice of pet,if you can't think of any thing to say, keep quiet, as quoted in another thread it's not the amount of posts you make it's the quality.

This is disgusting & it makes me feel sick. I'm a dog lover and have no feelings either way regarding cats, but I would like to have an hour on my own with the pondlife who do things like this.
Although I am not by nature a violent person, I believe that I could quite happily inflict some extremely serious damage on anyone that could do something like this, and probably laugh while I was doing it.
Someone must know who they are and IMO it is their public duty to unmask the filthy b******s.
jester6881 18-02-2006, 21:23 The ******** who did this need to let me be locked in a room with them. Nothing can compare to the unconditional love which pets give you. I hope and wish that you and your cat are alright and that the ******** who are responsible rot in hell.

Sit down, shut up.

That was I am sure a great help to the person who started this thread:loopy:
I have two cats and would be very upset if anything happened to them, poor thing. I would like to get hold of people that do this kind of thing and shoot them and see how they like it.

I think you should give yourself a slap in the mouth.
This is a very heartless comment to make.I myself am not a lover of cats, but i would never hurt a cat and the b******d thats done it wants hanging,
f_g i do hope your mums cat is ok,she must be heartbroke, bless her.
Give her a big hug from me:thumbsup:
MuteWitness 18-02-2006, 22:51 She is on the forum so will probably find this!

I am so, so sorry to hear about your Mum's cat. I am really discusted by people's mindless behavour towards animals, any animals.
There is no need for it apart they get a kick from it and it makes them look big in front of their friends. Everytime I hear something regarding animal curelty I am godsmacked at such things that people do at defensless animals.
I have a cat myself and if anything like that happened to her I wouldn't stop until the people who did this was caught.
Hope she gets better.
