candystick 18-02-2006, 16:37 Or try photobucket.
Anyone on blueyonder is automatically registered - the photos are just of the match day security... not seeing anything special whatsoever

I never have understood photobox,I will go back to photoshare. It is a public album so should work.
Sorry forget it.
candystick 18-02-2006, 16:41 I like the one of the horse's head.
Thanks... :hihi:
Whats the crowd like now though? Never good when its a Derby... especially when the Owls should have been given more penalties than just the one.
Classic Rock 18-02-2006, 16:44 Well considering it's Sheffield Derby and it'll be football heaven down there, I would expect the police to be out in full force. Keep away from the horses at the moment though, I've heard they have ring worm.

Sorry forget it.Whats the point your trying to make?? looks like just anothe match day to me?? although the one with the horse's head does look likw the horse is waiting to cross the rd....
Just had a phone call from my friend to make sure I'm at home as it's kicking off in Hillsborough now

Not making any point, but as you insist it is just another match day to you as your lot lost.I agree winning would be news worthy.
When i got closer there were actually 2 horses in that gap.
BoroughGal 18-02-2006, 17:59 I'm inclined to agree with Madowl, and I'm not a football fan trying to make a point. If anything, there looks to be less police around than there is on a normal match day???
.......although the one with the horse's head does look likw the horse is waiting to cross the rd....
No it's doing a Harry Worth impersonation.
(Gasp....showin' my age!!!!!!)
FunkyHouse 18-02-2006, 21:54 My housemate went to the game and he told me of near riots outside The Park today, and a lot of disturbance.
Sheffielder 19-02-2006, 08:46 Riots ?
No
What actually happened was that the Wednesday fans came up to the Park after the game.
Outside the Park pub - a load of fans who are banned from Hillsborough for hooliganism were already there.
They stood and chanted and waved at passing fans going to the tramstop
Then the police turned up and stood and looked at the hoolies.
The hoolies looked back
The police looked back
Then they all went home
Ridiculous
roughy101 19-02-2006, 09:47 yes there was ,the police made a courdon outside the park hotel and a crowd of wednesday fans were stoning the police and there horses, one of the horses was kicked and hit with stones, there were no cofrontations with opposing fans as they were held the back in the ground a short while,it seems as though they just wanted to attack the police,my two grandsons and there friend have who are 14 and 15 were advised by the police to go and up wait up a passage until it dispersed
S8 Blade 19-02-2006, 16:13 I walked down Middlewood Road into town, and just as we got to the edge of Hillsborough Park, we saw a small group just shoving people on the ground and kicking each other's heads in - coppers nowhere to be seen.
All the way past Hillsborough Corner the atmosphere was so tense - you could see all the idiots looking for the trouble.
I heard one of them turn round and say something which sums them all up really...
"Come on, leave it, there's not enough of us"
Cowardly?

that horse in the second pic doesnt have any back legs poor thing
it must be due to the polices cutbacks in funding, only buying half a horse
cgksheff 19-02-2006, 17:36 One poor chap was hurt inside the ground:

Sad news :( but there's always some idiots that will spoil it for the rest.
I hope that everyone that is charged and convicted for that sickening behaviour will be banned from football grounds for life. I don't care which team they profess to "support". They have let their team and the city of Sheffield down.
bigflesh 19-02-2006, 18:56 was it something to do with Derby fans? I heard that Derby are playing Sheffield Wednesday.
