Don't know if any of you know this, but there has been a radio station dedicated to the Sheffield community running for a while now called Sheffield Live!. Only available throught the web (at www.sheffieldlive.org ) the statiopn has been a long term ambition of a lady named Sangita who wanted to create a community radio station which was run by, and presented by, the people of Sheffield.

Well, the station is going to be broadcast full-time on the radio!


This is fantastic news for community radio, and it is great that we, in Sheffield, can have this opportunity to have our say, play our tunes, and talk our talkj on the radio. (Yup, I know I am originally from Liverpool, but I am proud to say that I belong in Sheffield)
