I've recently moved to the abbeydale road area and looking for a nice, friendly pub with a good atmosphere. I have tried a few and so far THe Cremone presents the best option, but with it's strange opening hours, i'm looking for something a bit more user friendly (we all need a lazy Sunday afternoon pint).

Depends where you are on Abbeydale Rd and they may involve a bit of a walk but the Sheaf View is excellent, White Lion on Chesterfield rd, opinion is divided but I like the Broadfield. Dulo isn't bad for a quiet afternoon drink, I'm not so keen in the night when it gets a bit busy and space is at a minimum.

I recently moved to Abbeydale Road too and I can't find any nice pubs. Always ready for a good evening drink or sunday afternoon beer.... White lion is decent... lemme know if you find any Kitty_77

I also just moved to the area in the past few weeks, and I've found that there are a couple of nice pubs in Nether Edge, only a short stroll up the hill from the Broadfield.

You could try the Millhouses near Tesco. It has pool table, jukebox, and big screens.
Good place for a Sunday.
